Any feedback would be appreciated. My local feedstore is giving 44 lb backs for 30 bucks so I thought it would be a good deal.

I hear Iams is not a good pet food. They use alot of fillers and preservatives and additives.
I’ve switched to Canidae. Innova is also a good, pure food.

Problems with AT&T-can somebody help?

Question by And Then She Said…: Problems with AT&T-can somebody help?
A saleswoman from AT&T recently came to our door, promising us a great deal if we came back to AT&T. The next day someone else from AT&T called, confirming the package, but many of the discounts we were promised were not valid. We were told to then call back and clarify the discrepancies in the two offers, and when we called back we were given a THIRD different price and the rep did not understand what we were staying, so we talked to her supervisor and asked why we were promised something and told we would get something else. She couldn’t answer that, and even when we threatened to cancel the deal and never come back she didn’t answer the question. I then said cancel the deal (even though they had no record of an order being placed)
I would like to revive this deal and get my original price, possibly just because of inconvenience. Any advice on what I should I do? Contact the local sales office (I’m in St. Louis)? Anything else? Thanks for reading-I know this is long, but thanks!!!!!
Also-the saleswoman came to our house and wrote down everything on the back of our copy of the contract-and AT*T still won’t do anything about it even though we have it in the sales rep’s writing

If you don’t have it in writing then it is meaningless and worthless, which is why you don’t talk to sales people on the phone.

Keyboard problems on Dell Latitude C640?

Question by Just Curious: Keyboard problems on Dell Latitude C640?
I have an older Dell Latitude C640 that I purchased, at quite a discount, from the local university. It was in near-perfect condition, and performed admirably for 4-5 months. It is loaded (currently) with Windows 2000.

Recently, however, the keyboard has been acting up. At first, whenever the ‘d’ key was pressed it would type an ‘a’ as well, so the total result would be ‘da’ whenever the ‘d’ key was pressed.

Now, however, the problem has intensified. For about 10-15 minutes after being booted up (depending on usage of keyboard) it works as stated above. Then, the ‘da’ problem disappears. Instead, the ‘a’ and ‘z’ keys, as well as the ‘1’ key stop working. Sometimes, if pressed repeatedly, they will function but seem to be stuck (although they feel fine).

Any suggestions? As a relatively new computer geek, I could use instructions on re-installing drivers if that happens to be a ‘magic bullet’ of sorts. Or should I just go with an external keyboard?

Best answer:

Answer by Charles X
I am going to assume that the computer you mentioned is a laptop. My best advice is simply as you put it. Get yourself an external Keyboard. (( Note )) you might have to disable to onboard keyboard through the Device Manager. Assuming the function is even there. But before you go there. Just plug the external in and see if it works. If it does. You wont need to device manager.

How will the current economic problems effect eating out?

Question by Rusty: How will the current economic problems effect eating out?
In Las Vegas, will the prices go down at the 5-Star eaterys?
I’ve read how the local restrauants are all in trouble, does anyone know of any good deals in Las Vegas?

Best answer:

Answer by forestwizard1
Honestly I know nothing about the restaurants in Vegas.

I’ve heard that due to the staggering economy, a lot of people are eating out less than before. Also, they’re cutting back on what they spend by how much they order at the restaurants. For example, people may no longer purchase appetizers or desserts. These really hurt restaurants, because they’re the big money makers, not the main entrees. Restaurants that have a full-service bar or offer mixed cocktails are taking a hit as well. People aren’t buying as many cocktails or alcoholic beverages.

Servers are taking a hit due to people cutting back on tipping. Usually a customer might tip 15 to 20%, but in some cases they may have to cut back on that as well. Due to low sales, restaurants are having to reduce the staff in one of two ways: either cut back everyone’s hours, or else lay off several employees.

Equation (1pt)

Solution (1pt)

The sum of the third and twice the first of three consecutive odd integers is 49. Find all three consecutive odd integers.
I only need the 2nd question. Please help!!!

Best answer:

Answer by ltpowers
OK, three consecutive odd integers: x, x+2, and x+4.

The sum of the third (x+4) and twice the first (x * 2) is 49.

(x+4) + (2x) = 49
3x = 45
x = 15
x+2 = 17
x+4 = 19
