Is it possible to make a Facebook app that only lets NEW Likes view a coupon to print?

Question by gabe: Is it possible to make a Facebook app that only lets NEW Likes view a coupon to print?
Question says it all I guess…

I want to make an app that allows people who Like my business’ Facebook fan page to view a coupon to print out… however, I want only NEW “Likers” to be able to print and use it.

Is this possible?

Nope. There is no way to sort between new likes and old likes. All are just ‘likes’ and there is no separate classification. Choose as best answer if this helps.

Car salespersons only!?

I am applying for a job at a local pontiac buick gmc dealer. How much can I expect to make annually, monthly and weekly. Is it hard? Do you have any tips to make it easier? Since all dealer have different pay plans, these are questions you will ask during the interview. Remember, he’s not just interviewing you, you are interviewing him.

Base salary is usually 200 or less weekly for new people, commission of gross is usually 20% plus 5-10% of the back end. Yearly can range from 50k to well over 100k, all depends on the person.

Dealers usually offer 1 week vaca for the first year, 2 weeks after 2 years, medical etc.

Is it hard??? YES and no. The more you work, the more you make, so you’ll find yourself working many hours your first couple years in the business, it calms down once you get in a groove, but expect to work your butt off. And make sure you have thick skin, this isn’t the business for the timid, not only will clients eat you alive, your colleagues and your managers will be worse.

Q&A: How do I print only coupon in e-mail?

Question by stevie: How do I print only coupon in e-mail?
I will often receive an e-mail from a merchant that includes a coupon at the end of the e-mail. How do I print only the coupon and not the entire e-mail? Up to now I have to print out the entire e-mail even if I only want the coupon. Seems like a waste of ink. Thanks

Is there a definition of “LOCAL PICK UP ONLY” for Ebay items?

Question by liamrite: Is there a definition of “LOCAL PICK UP ONLY” for Ebay items?
What EXACTLY does “LOCAL PICK UP ONLY” mean? To me it means YOU pick it up and there is no shipping involved, period. The winning bidder of an item I sold on Ebay says she is planning to have “them” pick it up for her (e.g. FedEx) once I have it packaged and ready. It’s a set of 12 dinnerware and my point was that I don’t want to deal with packaging and problems during shipping. Is there a definition for “LOCAL PICK UP ONLY” on Ebay or do you need to explain in detail what you mean by it every time you list an item this way? Thanks for any comments/suggestions!

Answer by z0plax
Yeah my understanding of Local Pickup Only is that someone would basically come and get the item from you, and that you wouldn’t ship it to the winning bidder. Often this seems to be done for items that are too big or impractical to ship.

If gas stations only make a few cents off of each gallon how can some stores offer discounts?

Question by deepindebt2008: If gas stations only make a few cents off of each gallon how can some stores offer discounts?
Our local grocery store also owns a gas station and they run specials each week to get gas coupons – for example buy $ 50 worth of groceries save 10 cents per gallon of gas up to 40 gallons. And you can use up to 2 discount coupons at a time. I find it hard to believe that they went through all the cost of building a gas station and then give coupons so that they are losing money on gas. there is no way that gas stations are making all their money off of people buying items in the store.

The markup on gas is about 35-50 cents per gallon.

Q&A: What do I do with local grandparents that only care about themselves?

Question by fourcheeks4: What do I do with local grandparents that only care about themselves?
My step-mother in law only had one child, and she only took care of him until he was 3 then she moved out here (her choice) and didn’t start to take care of her son again until he was 17. I have two children 29 months and 11 months.. both who I absolutely adore, and I really don’t think that it’s a good idea to have the children around her every weekend. She freaks out under child stress. She only gives attention to my son, My daughter will be one this month and she hasn’t even spent time with her. Just like when my son was one. She was never a good parent to my husband and his brother, and his dad and step mom truly only care about themselves, that’s why he GAVE custody to his ex wife over his 12 yr old daughter, so he didn’t have to deal with her., and when they see her once a yr they treat her like she’s just a nuisance. What do I do raising my children with local grandparents that only care about themselves?
His father was a suspect in his real mom’s murder and his dad screwed him over by putting his name on a business my husband didn’t own.
Even when I was pregnant they didn’t care, when I got into a car wreck when I was 7 months pregnant they didn’t care or call. They went to the Bahamas when our son was born, and didn’t come to our daughter’s birth.
My husband and I have never had a babysitter, we are the only people that take care of our angels. we only go over there on supervised visits.

Q&A: How could I compute the price of bonds if I was provided only with percentage of annual coupon and YTM?

Question by Pet: How could I compute the price of bonds if I was provided only with percentage of annual coupon and YTM?
You are considering two bonds. Bond A has a 8% annual coupon while Bond B has a 5% annual coupon. Both bonds have a 7% yield to maturity, and the YTM is expected to remain constant. What will happen to the price of the two bonds over time and why?

Best answer:

Answer by Math
Bond A is offering a rate higher than the market. Thus it will sell at a premium (as investors will be willing to pay more for the higher returns).

Over time Bond A’s price will decrease, as the bond must be priced at the face value at maturity (because at maturity the only future cash flow from the bond is it’s face value, this is assuming we are just a little bit of time after the last coupon being paid).

——————–

On the other hand, Bond B is offering less than the market. So, it will need to sell at a discount (investors must be given capital gains to make up for the lower coupon rate, otherwise they would not hold the bonds).

For the same reason above, the bond must be priced at its face value on maturity date ( right before the face value is paided, but after the last cash coupon is paided).

So Bond B’s price will increase over time, up to the face value.

I know that I’ve seen places where you can order two for one tickets if you can provide a local driver’s licence.
