Q&A: Local pawn shops are full of PSP’s but hardly a DS to be found, any ideas?

Question by thejokker: Local pawn shops are full of PSP’s but hardly a DS to be found, any ideas?
I was thinking about buying one of the two systems and i thought it was strange that i coulnt find any DS’s at the local pawn shops. I find a ton of nearly new PSP’s selling for about 125. While its a good deal on the psp it makes me wonder why so many are selling theirs. Although the media player and a few of the games look interesting to me.
cored, still not as easy to get video on an ipod as it is on a psp, its just “fill up the memory stick”

If a coupon says 5 for $10 do you HAVE to buy the full 5 in order to get the discounted price?

Question by Avery’s Mom: If a coupon says 5 for do you HAVE to buy the full 5 in order to get the discounted price?
I know this is probably a stupid question but when a coupon says 5 for $ 10 do you have to buy 5 of that specific item in order to get the discounted price?
I’m talking about grocery wise. For instance, there’s a coupon that’s for Starbucks ice cream that says 5 for $ 10 and I only want maybe 2 ice creams…not 5. Will I still get the discounted price?

Sounds like they’re sending you a coupon for another one of the items for free, to replace the one that you’re complaining about.

Where can I get Sea World – San Diego ticket coupons so I dont have to pay full price?

Question by Andrew: Where can I get Sea World – San Diego ticket coupons so I dont have to pay full price?
I will be going to San Diego in June and I know these amusement parks always have ticket promotions for so many dollars off tickets. Can anyone tell me where I can find these. I live in Pennsylvania so online coupons or any store coupons would help me tremendously. Also other than the Zoo, Legoland and the obvious attractions , are there any other places you can suggest while I am in San Diego?

Look around travel websites and official hotel websites. Often times, especially summer, they may offer vacation packages with free or discounted tickets.

If you buy a bond a day before they give out coupons, will you get the full coupon amount?

Question by computerpsi: If you buy a bond a day before they give out coupons, will you get the full coupon amount?
This has nothing to do with Maturity Date.
I am asking about the semiannual coupon.
I gather that if the investors are allowed to buy bonds a day before the coupons are given out, the bond’s value would raise a bit right before the coupons are given.
Anybody know if this is true?

True. The bonds only pay to the owner on the day the coupon is redeemed. Just like a stock or mutual fund dividend. You buy the security the day before, you get it all. As you say, tho, the price could rise a bit to reflect the coming interest or dividend payment.
