What should I do if I think my neighbors deal illegal drugs?

Question by egyptianwizard77: What should I do if I think my neighbors deal illegal drugs?
Basically the house to our left has been emptied and filled multiple times in the past couple years but this time they’re staying. My parents and I are 99.9% they’re doing/dealing something. My question is what type of evidence must you have to call the local police department on suspicion (spelled wrong) of drugs? We can’t just call them and say “hey our neighbors are rowdy they’re on something!” Our neighbors are odd. I’ve seen atleast 20 vehicles pull into there driveway (only far enough so their rear-end doesn’t get hit by traffic) honk the horn, someone comes outside, they go up to car window, and the car leaves. This happens ALOT. They also keep a “guard” dog chained up outside in their driveway so people can see it maybe? They also get into LOTS of fights in their front lawn with different people every time. What do we have to hear/see in order to take action? P.S. The Popos show up about once a month for random things. (Fire, dismestic disturbance) to name a few.
Also, if it means anything, we live in a ghetto town.

How can I keep my 3yr old son from being subjected to his father who deals drugs and was abusive?

Question by babigirl4life: How can I keep my 3yr old son from being subjected to his father who deals drugs and was abusive?
I was never married to the father. I left him once I found out I was pregnant and he refused to stop the drugs. I am now married to a man who has raised and supported my son since he was 4months old. He would like to adopt, but since I have married the father has now decided to take me to court. First it was for visitation, now he has put a contempt charge against me for not allowing him to see my son. I have tried reporting his drug dealings to the local police and Crimestoppers with no avail, the father moved to another residence and the investigation on him stopped. Not only does this man deal drugs out of his home, he was also physically abusive to me when we lived together. The only person that was his abuse was his 6yr old daughter who I’m sure will not testify against him. I am desperate now because my son has serious heart defects and is autistic. I live in Texas, the father lives in Oklahoma. If anyone can help me I would be very appreciative.
I have had two attorneys so far. Both were bad choices as they have not helped my case at all. I was told by both I would have to have proof he was dealing drugs (which I do not have since he has never been arrested for a drug charge and the local police were never able to catch him since he moved from the address I gave them). The only person who saw his physical abuse was his 6yr old daughter. I know she will not testify against her father. I could only recruit people who would be testify on hearse, no one actually saw the abuse other than his daughter. Surprisingly the courts have been on his side completely. I am at a loss on how to protect my son. I am going to try getting the Child Welfare and my son’s Dr involved and see if I can get anywhere
