Is the chrysler 300 a good car in your opinion? And is this one a good deal?

Question by clumsystuntmonkey: Is the chrysler 300 a good car in your opinion? And is this one a good deal?
Its Black, with no problems what so ever. I test drove it, and it runs fantastic. It has a v6.
Its previous owner was a older lady that works at a local bank.
The car currently has 82000 miles on it.
Its a 2006 model.
And the window price is 11,995. But the owner of the lot told me he would take 10,800 dollars for it.

So the question is: is that a good deal, and is this a good car thats gonna last?

Mount Gamkonora, located in West Halmahera, North Maluku, about 2,700 kilometres northeast of Jakarta, was placed on a level four alert last Monday, which is the top warning signal for volcanic eruptions. The first eruption occurred Tuesday (10 July 2007) at 14:50 hrs East Indonesian time, spewing towering columns of ash and smoke, and spitting out rocks and showers of sparks. According to the provincial executing unit for disaster management (SATKORLAK), there have been several eruptions since.

No casualties or damages have been reported, but authorities have placed the highest alert level on the forest-clad volcano since Sunday. After a slowdown in volcanic activities on 12 July, five volcanic quakes shook the area on 13 July, sending ash over an area six km from the crater.

More than 9,000 people have been evacuated from an area surrounding Mount Gamkonora. The evacuees are staying in tents provided by local army and police authorities. The government has sent food, tents, blankets and mats for the evacuees. Indonesia has the highest number of active volcanoes of any country, sitting on a belt of intense volcanic and seismic activity known as the “Pacific Ring of Fire”.

According to the national coordination board for disaster management (BAKORNAS), SATKORLAK of North Maluku Province and other agencies working in Maluku, the local government is helping with the evacuation of villagers. It has provided six tons of rice, 13 platoon tents, 100 plastic sheets, ten latrines, one mobile truck for water supply, 50 boxes of instant noodles, etc.

Indonesian Red Cross Society (Palang Merah Indonesia, PMI) has deployed 30 volunteers from the North Maluku chapter. These volunteers, jointly with the local government, have set up five field kitchens at the temporary shelters in West Halmahera, where PMI does not have a branch office. The field kitchens are now established in the villages of Goal, Tosoa, Togola, Wayoli and Tongute Ternate.

The PMI headquarters has provided operational costs of the field kitchens and sent 10,000 masks and 1,000 medicines to North Maluku for immediate distributions. In addition, it has made contingency arrangements for relief items by placing 2,000 hygiene kits and an additional 10,000 masks in Manado, North Sulawesi, the closest neighbouring chapter from North Maluku.

The evacuated residents were allowed to return to their homes, none of which had incurred any damage. No casualties or injuries were reported following the volcanic activity, but some residents complained of breathing problems due to high levels of ash in the air.

Whats the best way to deal with snotty tourists and summer people?

Question by paintmeblue719: Whats the best way to deal with snotty tourists and summer people?
live in Maine, and tourism is the state’s biggest industry, so there are ALOT of people who show up during the summer. The problem is, I can’t stand them. They’re very rude drivers, kids are constantly out in the road, and I’m incredibly sick of hearing people sit on my porch to puke all night. (If we shoo them away, someone else just takes the spot 5 minutes later) They park in the middle of the roads instead of finding parking, and generally make life difficult for everyone else.

No one around here can sleep at night because people are always parting in the streets and making too much noise. They think that they can do whatever they want because they’re on vacation. Alot of them treat the locals like servants, or like we’re here just to please the tourists, like we’re actors and our town is only for show. Requests to stop are usually met with a ‘I’m on vacation and I can do what I want” attitude.

How can I deal with this? Any tips on how I can get them to be more respectful?

It’s just something you’ll have to deal with. I live in NYC so I’m used to tourists getting in my way and messing up my routine.

Maine’s economy, just like NYC’s is boosted by tourists, so I don’t think that the people in charge are going to do anything to shoo them away.

Q&A: Where can I find the best deal for Disneyworld discount park passes?

Question by Burton: Where can I find the best deal for Disneyworld discount park passes?
Also want to go to Universal and MGM. Looking for a good deal. Anyone have any input? Thanks

I think the best deals I have seen are at Orlandofuntickets.com. I have not personally used them as I work there and get in for free and tend to get my friends and family in as well. However, I have heard of a couple people using them just fine. Disney is so popular that they really dont need to use discounters

Do the Spanish people know how to deal with a mosque?

Question by Phoenix: Do the Spanish people know how to deal with a mosque?
In Sevilla, Spain , local people found a

way to stop the construction of another mosque in

their town. They buried a pig on the site, and made sure this would

be known by the local press.

The Islamic rules forbid the erecting of a Mosque on “pig soiled ground.”

The Muslims had to cancel the project. This land was sold to them by government

officials.

No protests were needed by the local people…and it worked!

Q&A: Have you ever used restaurant.com? This deal I just got sounds too good to be true. Please tell me its legit!?

Question by troubledinparadise: Have you ever used restaurant.com? This deal I just got sounds too good to be true. Please tell me its legit!?
I just ordered my first discounted gift certificates for local restaurants from there. ( http://cobrand.restaurant.com/index.asp?pgn=home ) I have heard of the site before. They advertise on local radio (CT) and there was a link to it in my weekly email from “Borders Reward Perks.” When I checked it out it showed what I expected… the certificates had restrictions and your bill had to come to a certain amount before you could put the certificate towards it and it sometims couldn’t be weekend nights… that sort of thing. But when I clicked on a restaurant to see what it was going to charge me it calculated it at 80% off! I am a strong believer in the “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” theory, however, I ended up purchasing about 8 gift certificates for values from $ 10 – $ 25 dollars each and my total came to $ 7.60! Like I said, they have restrictions on them; for example I got 4 $ 10 gift certificates to one of my local pizza/grinder/Italian shops. They have to be used one at a time, only Sunday through Thursday and the bill has to be at least $ 20.00. That’s completely do-able for a restaurant that I go to all the time. I ordered the certificates and was able to print them immediately and each has its own restrictions and its own Certificate/ID/Confirmation number (Whatever you want to call it). I am guessing this extreme discount was because it is the last day of the month but I’m not sure.

Has anyone used this site before? Did I just get scammed? (I’m assuming Borders Books Store would not promote a scam… right? Also it was a secure site and I confirmed it through the BBB. What do you think?

Thanks!

I’ve never used restaurants.com, but i have used other websites that have half off deals for various things…like for example, i bought tickets to go to midevil times in dallas for $ 25, when they’re usually more than 50 bucks full price. They were selling a limited quantity and it was only for a limited time. They had the same thing for gift certificates for various restaurants. And I have heard of restaurants.com before….so it’s legit.
