What happens if you don’t fully use a coupon code?

Question by Itzel ಠ_ಠ *Suspended*: What happens if you don’t fully use a coupon code?
So I was emailed a coupon code after returning a broken pair of headphones to skullcandy. The coupon code was $ 24.99. On the website I ordered a pair of headphones that were $ 14.95, because the other model that I previously owned was out of stock. So what happens to other amount of money that I got from the coupon code? Do I still have the rest of the money that’s on it?

Q&A: How long do you need to have worked at Sainsbury’s to get the staff discount?

Question by tbC Elwell: How long do you need to have worked at Sainsbury’s to get the staff discount?
I am thinking about applying to work at my local Sainsbury’s and was wondering how long you need to have been employed by them before they give you staff discount. I was also wondering how much the discount was and whether it was the same for everyone working there… Thanks in advance for any help you can give 🙂

Answer by bloodclart2001
Can’t you just ask them directly being as you work there? Or just read your staff handbook.

Staff discounts are usually implemented after your probation period (surely you know how long your own probation period is).

When my friend used to work for sainsburys, she got a 20 or 25% discount.

Question by Nurse2011: How do I set up a formula to solve this word problem?
An instrument store gives a 10% discount to all students off the original cost of an instrument. During a back to school sale an additional 15% is taken off the discounted price. Julie, a student at the local high school, purchases a flute for $ 306. How much did it originally cost?
This is NOT my homework. I am studying to take a nursing entrance test. It is a practice problem. I want to know how to set up the problem.
AND Connor your answer is wrong!!

Best answer:

Answer by alangoestomusicwood
10% + 15% = 25%

.25x +306 = x

306 = .75x

x= 408

Discounts for 6Flags Over TX tickets?

Question by TXChristDem: Discounts for 6Flags Over TX tickets?
My son won a free ticket in a school read-a-thon, but we will still need to buy tickets for my husband, other son and I. Any of you locals know which grocery store or anywhere else might be running a promotion for serious ticket discounts, like a 2for1? Our budget is really tight, but we don’t want our son to miss out on his prize.
